How to open or close sun moon roof when switch is not working.
Gmc envoy roof won t close.
The roof is stuck open well almost.

Jokes on me i didn t have to open the roof and midgate to begin with.
I read some threads on other vehicles with the same problem and you could recalibrate the roof by holding.
This could be a number of things and you ll have to take it in of course to get it properly diagnosed.
Enough that it tells you to close the roof but won t let you open the roof far enough to get to the screws to remove the lid.
Drop the sunroof assembly down along with the motor.
My question is how can i remove the lid or disengage the lid from the motor so i can slide it back to the closed position.
Turn and push on the screwdriver to work the motor manually.
